Speakers

Grant Bailey

Grant is the owner and manager of AgProcure, which specialises in input procurement and efficiencies, working with around 250 farms across Australia and 55 of our largest primary producers. Grant has a business degree from Flinders University and specialises in the data and economic analysis for agricultural inputs relating to farm input supply and strategy.

Grant Roberts

Grant Roberts has a PhD from the University of Adelaide and more recent business training from the Yale School of Management. He has been Chief Agronomist Asia for global fertiliser giant Yara, Director of Global Modern Agriculture for Philip Morris international and has most recently returned to Australia for his current role with Elders.

Kenton Porker

Kenton Porker is a farming systems researcher focused on improving broadacre crop productivity. He has led research in previous roles at SARDI, and FAR Australia.  At CSIRO, he currently leads a National Canola Productivity and Oil Quality Program and the Profitable Cereal Yield Frontiers initiative.

Rick Llewellyn

Rick is a Senior Principal Research Scientist with CSIRO. He has a PhD in agricultural economics from the University of Western Australia and his research bridges farming systems research, agricultural economics and technology adoption. He current co-leads the GRDC national risk management initiative RiskWi$e.
