Dr Lee Ann Jackson
Head of the Agro-food Trade and Markets Division, OECD (Paris)
Dr Lee Ann Jackson is the Head of the Agro-food Trade and Markets Division in the OECD’s Trade and Agriculture Directorate. Based in Paris, she leads the work examining the links between policies and outcomes on food and agricultural markets, including specific analysis related to modelling medium term outlook for commodity markets, understanding policies from a food systems perspective, and enhancing the transparency and predictability of agricultural trade. She has over 20 years of experience working in the area of trade and agriculture, including 16 years working at the WTO, where she served as the Secretary to the Committee on Agriculture, advising WTO member countries on issues related to agricultural trade policy and multilateral negotiations.

 

Dr Jared Greenville
Executive Director, ABARES
Dr Jared Greenville was appointed Executive Director of ABARES in 2020. In this role he leads a comprehensive program of economic analysis and scientific research across Australian agriculture, fisheries and forestry. The Bureau’s work underpins the development of Australian Government policy as well as decision-making from the farm gate to national industries and international markets. Jared currently represents Australia at OECD forums on sustainable agricultural production, global food security and climate policy. Prior to joining ABARES, Jared held a senior role at the OECD focusing on agri-food trade policy, global value-chains in agriculture, and food security and risk (Southeast Asia) along with monitoring and evaluating.

 

Dr Susan Stone
Credit Union SA Chair of Economics, University of South Australia
Dr Stone provides independent analysis of South Australia’s economy, with a focus on the interaction between local and global factors. She previously held senior roles at the OECD (as division head), the United Nations ESCAP, the Asian Development Bank Institute (Tokyo), and the Productivity Commission (Melbourne). She is a regular media contributor and has published in InDaily, The Australian Financial Review, and The Australian. Dr Stone holds a PhD in Economics.
