The South Australian AARES Branch is delighted to invite students and early career researchers to apply for our Student Conference Awards. These awards are designed to support and encourage young professionals to get involved with the AARES community.
We are looking for individuals who are presenting at this year’s conference, but are also keen to engage with their peers and share their experiences.
What’s on offer?
Successful applicants will receive:
- Free registration to the 2027 AARES Conference
- Formal recognition as a Student Conference Award recipient, including acknowledgement at an event in early 2026.
Who can apply?
To be eligible, you must :
1. Be a student, early career researcher, or young professional
2. Be presenting at the 2026 AARES Conference
3. Have an interest in becoming a member of the South Australian AARES Branch
How to apply.
Please send your application to office@aares.org.au by 27th February 2026, using the subject line: SA AARES Student Conference Award.
Your email needs to include three things:
1. Your accepted abstract for the 2026 AARES Conference
2. A link to a LinkedIn post you have written (and tagged #AARES) reflecting on your experience at the conference
3. A brief personal statement (1-2 paragraphs) explaining why you would like to attend the 2027 conference and how it would support your studies, research, or career development.
