Registration Rates

It is a requirement that all conference attendees are or become members of AARES. The system will determine whether your AARES membership is paid for 2018 and will add the cost automatically.  In order to register, you will need to log in to the system or create a new account, if you aren't already a member.

Logging on to the system has its difficulties. Some usernames are a name or number, some usernames are your email address. A lot of members have duplicate entries and if you try too many times your account will automatically be locked. So, if clicking on forgot my username or forgot my password doesn't bring joy, please contact the Central Office and we can reset your account or change your username or password. If you have difficulty logging in, please don't just create a new account. This is not at all helpful. It means your history is not carried over and it makes the job much more difficult for us. Please email us and we can reset your username or password.

As AARES has ceased as an Incorporated Association and is now a Limited Company, all current/renewing members must sign this form requesting membership of the new entity. Please download the form and either print it out and sign it, or you can download it and fill and sign it electronically, assuming you have the current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. As a general rule you can't sign PDFs electronically directly within your web browser, so it is better to download it and open it in Acrobat or your PDF editor of choice. Please email or post the form to AARES Central Office, PO Box 1371, Mitcham North Vic 3132.

New members agree to abide by the Constitution of Australasian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society Limited and supply to the board such information as it may reasonably be required to assess an application for membership.
If you have any concerns or require further information, please email
Central Office.

  • Registration to the Conference entitles non-members of the Society to 12 months membership to AARES and electronic access to the Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics.

  • Full Registration includes a ticket to the Welcome Reception on Tuesday evening.
  • Day registrants wishing to attend any social events can purchase tickets separately.
  • All amounts are in Australian dollars and include GST.
