Welcome to the 62nd AARES Annual Conference Website
The 2018 Annual AARES Conference will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on North Terrace in Adelaide, South Australia.
The Organising Committee, in conjunction with the incoming AARES President-Elect, is working on an exciting program to make this conference an outstanding success and one not to be missed.
The venue is close to public transport and there are numerous hotels within 2-3 minutes walk. The airport is approximately 20 minutes by car.
As the program is developed we will add particularly interesting or novel events to our Drawcard Events page.
The Local Organising Committee for the 2018 Australasian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society (AARES) now invites Selected Paper, Contributed Paper and Poster contributions highlighting the latest economic research and policy innovations in the areas of agriculture, environment, food, resource and agribusiness. The 2018 Annual AARES Conference will offer a forum for applied and theoretical economists to gather along with industry and policymakers to share experiences and draw insights. We will learn ways to create opportunities to achieve rising and shared prosperity while better managing the natural environment in our region and beyond.
As always, the aim of the AARES Conference is to foster discussion and the interchange of ideas, solutions, new methods and techniques, theories and trends across our disciplinary domains including agricultural economics, natural resource economics, environmental economics, ecological economics, energy economics, natural resource management, multi-disciplinary studies and policy issues related to these areas of intellectual inquiry.
