Welcome to the 62nd AARES Annual Conference Website


The 2018 Annual AARES Conference will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on North Terrace in Adelaide, South Australia.
The venue is close to public transport and there are numerous hotels within 2-3 minutes walk. The airport is approximately 20 minutes by car.

Conference Program

The Organising Committee, in conjunction with the incoming AARES President-Elect, is working on an exciting program to make this conference an outstanding success and one not to be missed. 
As the program is developed we will add particularly interesting or novel events to our Drawcard Events page.

The social program is also being developed. We will have:
1. An early career professionals dinner at Ming's Palace on Tuesday 6 February 2018 (maximum 50 participants)
2. Conference dinner at Adelaide Oval on Wednesday 7 February 2018
3. Networking event at the old Adelaide Gaol on Thursday 8 February 2018

Submissions are now closed

The paper selection committee is aiming to advise authors of the outcome of their submissions in the first week of December 2017.

Accommodation Options

Special conference rates have been negotiated at a number of properties for AARES conference delegates by booking through Premier Event Concepts (link provided in registration process).If you have already registered, but have not yet chosen accommodation, you can go to this link

Childcare Subsidy at AARES Conference 2018

The AARES Federal Council will be offering a limited number of subsidies for childcare to conference registrants. Each individual is eligible to apply for a maximum of $300.
