Membership of the Society is open to all persons and organisations interested in agricultural, resource, and environmental economics. Membership categories include regular individual membership, as well as student and emeritus concessions.
Individual members receive copies of the Society's journal AJARE along with the Newsletter, and are eligible for discounted registrations to AARES conferences and AARES symposia. For more information on the benefits of membership, click here. In 2012, members can elect to receive either electronic or printed copy of the Journal through the new membership process. A price differential, offering lower subscription rates to members who elect to take the electronic copy of the Journal only, will apply. Memberships are for the calendar year. Previously available options, for members to pay three years subscriptions in advance or to pay at the same time as renewing their AAEA membership, will not be available in 2012.
